If you are looking to hire Monkey or Seal (or both of us) for any illustration work for commercial use, please send us an email with as much information about your project to: info@monkeyandseal.com.

Please describe in as much detail as possible what you are looking for, intended use and distribution, your budget, when you need it by, any technical (size, dpi, etc.) requirements, and if there is a preferred medium/style that you are looking for. If you require an NDA, please send it along so we can discuss the project as quickly as possible.

Our illustration process goes something like this:

If we receive your request and we are available for work and we think we'd be a good fit for your needs, we'll draft you a contract and an invoice for a deposit. Once we get a signed contract and the deposit, we'll get started working on some thumbnails and rough line drawings.

We will usually provide 3-5 different thumbnails/sketches for you to choose from. If any revisions are needed, they are made and another loose line drawing will be furnished.

Once a design is finalized, we will then give you some value and color studies. If further revisions are made, they will be made at this point.

When a final study is approved, we'll take the studies and finalize it into a full illustration.

Prices depend on final size, medium, intended usage, requested rights, and turn-around time.
