Monkey + Seal - Commissions

Own your very own Monkey + Seal art!

If you are looking to hire Monkey or Seal (or both of us) for any personal commissions, please send us an email with as much information about your project to: info@monkeyandseal.com.

Please describe in as much detail as possible what you are looking for, when you need it by, any technical (size, dpi, etc.) requirements, and if there is a preferred medium/style that you are looking for.

Our commission process works just like our illustration process:

If we receive your request and we are available for work and we think we'd be a good fit for your needs, we'll draft you a contract and an invoice for a deposit. Once we get a signed contract and the deposit, we'll get started working on some thumbnails and rough line drawings.

We will usually provide 3-5 different thumbnails/sketches for you to choose from. If any revisions are needed, they are made and another loose line drawing will be furnished.

Once a design is finalized, we will then give you some value and color studies. If further revisions are made, they will be made at this point.

When a final study is approved, we'll take the studies and finalize it into a full painting.

Prices depend on final size, medium, and turn-around time.
