What Shipping Methods Are Available?
If you’re in the 94115 zipcode of San Francisco, or are flexible in meeting in that area, we’re happy to meet you and hand off your purchase to save on shipping. Otherwise, we offer standard USPS shipping, or if you need something in a hurry, we can always FedEx/UPS it if you need it quick (or overseas).
How Long Will It Take To Get My Package?
It super depends on what you’re ordering. If it’s something like a book or a pin, we usually ship everything out in 1-2 business days. If it’s a tie or tee (especially if we need to print it, or it’s a custom tie order), it might take 5-7 business days for us to even get the package out the door.
If you need something for a specific event, like a birthday or something, please let us know and we can give you more specific information and we can usually make things happen 🙂
Do You Ship Internationally?
Sure thing. If you’re overseas, or looking to ship a gift overseas, let us know, and we can work something out. We don’t really handle customs or stuff like that, so especially all of our EU friends, be wary of customs!
For our friends North of the border in Canada, we can ship to you no problemo, and there should be options when you check out.
I saw something at a show that isn’t on your website? What do I do?
While I always highly encourage people to buy stuff from us at events, if you missed your opportunity, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org and do your best at describing what it is you’re looking for. There are only two of us, so chances are one of us will be able to figure out what you need, and will find a way to get it to you.
How do your shirts fit?
Generally, the brands we use for our shirt printing run on the smaller side, as they have a “fashion fit,” very similar to sizing by American Apparel. You can probably safely buy a size larger than what you’re used to. Please refer to this sizing chart for exact garment sizes, measured laid flat.
What does it mean that your shirts and ties are “hand-printed?”
Rick ran a professional screen printing business for 6 years until he sold it to work more on his own art and teaching. Instead of hiring a shop to print all of our stuff, Rick does all of the printing himself using professional inks and printing equipment. Eve occasionally prints shirts too! We do everything but sew the garments themselves.
I assume you’re asking about whether or not the shirts shrink any. Because we often us 100% ringspun cotton garments, if you wash them in hot, or dry them on high, your shirt is going to shrink a bit. If you’re between sizes, we recommend buying up a size and then shrinking them down.
Your ties say they’re vegan. Wtf is up with that? Who eats clothing?
Actually, vegan doesn’t have to do with just food, but consumption of animal products in any way. Many ties are made from silk, which is harvested from silkworms. Sweaters made from wool also aren’t technically vegan, either.
While Rick isn’t vegan anymore, he still wants to make his products accessible to people who want to buy vegan, thus the usage of 100% polyester fibers in the ties.
The upside for all the non-vegans is that polyester is more stain resistant than silk, and you can often spot-clean your ties without having to get them fully dry-cleaned.
What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
We take PayPal, and most major credit cards. At events, we also take cash, as well!
Occasionally, we accept trades, too, especially on the last day of a convention. Rick is fond of tabletop games, books, and comics (esp. horror). Eve is partial to art with strong design, color, and mood.
Is Buying On-Line Safe?
I mean, is buying anywhere really safe? Honestly, criminals have waaaaaay more skills than you might believe. They can walk past you at a concert and steal all your credit card information. Buying online, like driving a car, is generally safe, with potential risks.
If you’re asking about whether or not we get to see your credit card information, no, we don’t. But if you’re really asking this at on online-store, just show up at one of our events and we can swipe your card with our Square reader if that makes you feel more safe.
Orders and Returns
How do I place an Order?
I assume you’re talking a custom order? If anything goes weird, or you’re having trouble checking out, give us a call or email us and we’ll figure out how to make the transaction happen. Otherwise, just use our handy-dandy webstore 😀
Do I need an account to place an order?
Nah, homie, no need. If you want to reorder stuff, or keep a wishlist, you do, but otherwise just check out and pay and keep on relaxing until you get your rad loot.
How Can I Cancel Or Change My Order?
We generally don’t accept cancellations or changes once the order has shipped. If you quickly realize your mistake, just email us at: email@example.com and we’ll work it all out, no sweat!
How Do I Track My Order?
We generally don’t send out tracking info, but if you’d like to get it, just let us know when you order. Then you can track it via the carrier of your choice.
How Can I Return a Product?
While we definitely stand by the quality of our products, because we are such a small boutique, all sales are final.
If there is a defect that is our fault, then by all means we will either refund your money or send you a replacement, whichever you prefer. If there are any issues, just email us and we’ll make it right!
